Korea Ever-Power's Customisation Process — From Inquiry to Delivery

Stage 1 — Inquiry and Specification
Submit inquiry with drawing (preferred), or sample, or description of gear type, module, tooth count, material, and quantity. Korea Ever-Power responds within 24 hours with a price quotation and any clarifying questions. If no drawing is available, submit the gear sample and Korea Ever-Power will measure and prepare the drawing for customer approval before proceeding. Stage 2 — Material Selection Consultation
Korea Ever-Power engineers review the application requirements and recommend the optimal material. Key questions: What is the maximum operating temperature? Is the environment humid, wet, or chemically aggressive? What is the duty cycle (continuous vs intermittent)? Is lubrication available or must the gear be dry-running? Is the gear in contact with food, medical patients, or electrical circuitry? The answers determine whether POM, PA6, PA66+GF, PEEK, PPS, or another material is most appropriate.
Stage 3 — Mould Design and Manufacture
For injection-moulded gears: Korea Ever-Power's mould design team designs the tool, selects the mould steel grade (S136H–H13), and manufactures the mould. Lead time 15–35 days depending on complexity. For CNC-machined gears: programming and machining from cast plastic rod or block — typically 5–10 days. Stage 4 — Sample Production and Approval
First article samples (typically 5–20 pcs) from the new mould are produced, dimensionally inspected, and sent to the customer for approval. Korea Ever-Power provides the first article inspection report (dimensions, tooth profile, surface quality) with the samples. If the customer requests modifications (to module, bore, face width, or surface finish) after testing, Korea Ever-Power makes the mould corrections and re-samples. Only after customer sample approval does series production begin.
Stage 5 — Series Production and QC
